We have a daughter who has struggled with sensory processing disorder and ADHD her whole life. We wanted to find a doctor who would appreciate our want to treat our daughter holistically and not medicate her at four years old. Doctor Yonker's caring attitude and professionalism is second to none. She has treated our family like family and I know that my daughter is receiving the best psychiatric care we could ask for. It is for these reasons, and many more, that we have traveled an hour and 15 minutes each way once a week for two years so that our daughter could receive neurofeedback treatments. With neurofeedback and dietary recommendations made by Dr. Yonker my child has made tremendous emotional, academic and behavioral changes. We are ever grateful for our time with Dr. Yonker. She has very alternative treatments for ADD, ADHD, and such, and I felt drastically different (in a good way) after I left her office. I highly recommend Dr. Yonker and Holistic Psychiatry of NY.
